Second part of Lecture Series took part on Friday, 5, 2016

The theme of Dr. Alan D. Hart, FGA, DGA, Curator of Natural History Museum in London, UK lecture was: “The British Museum: a personal reflection, past to present and on”. Dr. Hart managed to press in less an hour of his lecture huge amount of extremely interesting information, illustrated by high class photos, arranged in a very clever and impressing photo presentation. That was a talk made by genuine professional mineralogist combined with very experienced speaker. And this combination resulted in extra class lecture. We express our gratitude to Dr. Alan Hart for it.

In the second lecture Mr. Federico Barlocher, a renowned videographer from Switzerland show two breathtaking videos – one 10 minutes sketch on Ruby mining in Mogok and long video on Mim museum in Beirut – a recently founded mineralogical museum in which thousands of top-class mineral specimens have been gathered in that outstanding personal collection.
